Special Issues
Selected, refereed papers will be published in special issues of the Elsevier journals:
- Trends in Food Science & Technology,
- Food Control
- Innovative Food Science and Emerging Technologies (IFSET)
- Food and Bioproducts Processing
Selected oral and poster presenters at the conference, who have indicated their interest in being considered, will be invited by the Scientific Committee to submit full manuscripts to be considered for inclusion in the special issues. The assigned guest editors will contact by invitation only the authors of selected presentations (oral or posters), appropriate to the respective journals, by mid-December to submit, if they wish, their work for publication in these issues. The deadline for submission in the Special Issues will be two months from the initial invitation.

Trends in Food Science & Technology
Trends in Food Science & Technology is the only truly international peer-reviewed journal publishing critical reviews and viewpoints of current technology, food science and human nutrition. Its role is to fill the gap between the specialized primary journals and general trade magazines by focusing on the most promising new research developments and their current and potential food industry applications in a readable, scientifically rigorous way.
Food Control
The scope of Food Control is comprehensive and includes original research papers, authoritative reviews, short communications, comment articles that report on new developments in food control, and position papers.
The work described should be innovative either in the approach or in the methods used. The significance of the results either for the science community or for the food industry must also be specified. Contributions that do not fulfil these requirements will not be considered for review and publication.
Innovative Food Science and Emerging Technologies (IFSET)
Innovative Food Science and Emerging Technologies (IFSET) aims to provide the highest quality original contributions on new developments in food science and emerging technologies. The work described should be innovative either in the approach or in the methods used. The significance of the results either for the science community or for the food industry must also be specified. Papers submitted for publication must be novel and of high scientific quality and impact. Only papers which advance current scientific knowledge, with industrial relevance, which advance current understanding will be considered for review and publication.
Food and Bioproducts Processing
FBP aims to be the principal international journal for publication of high quality, original papers in the branches of engineering and science dedicated to the safe processing of biological products. It is the only journal to exploit the synergy between biotechnology, bioprocessing and food engineering.
